About Cassandra
I taught elementary school for 3 years before leaving to attend law school. My time teaching was the most rewarding, enriching experience I've had in my 10+ years in the work force. I'm passionate about helping students learn and grow in their confidence as a student!
I have a bachelors degree in English. I taught second and third graders math, grammar, literature, history, and science.
I teach using a modified version of the socratic method, allowing the students to take charge of their learning by asking them questions. I value positive affirmation to help build a students self-esteem as a capable learner.
