About Susan
I'm a recent graduate of the Macaulay Honors College at the City College of New York, where I majored in history and earned a 4.0. History is a discipline built on clear, concise, and engaging writing. It's all about storytelling, which is why I love it so much.
Everytime I sit down to write, I get the same feeling of excitement. I love that writing pushes me to ask new questions and express my thoughts more clearly. Helping someone else through their writing process (whether it's through mapping out ideas or line editing) is the most rewarding feeling.
I hold a B.A. in History, for which I wrote an honors thesis. I've won numerous awards in my college's history department for papers and essays I've written. In the summer of 2019, I was a Humanities Research Fellow at Stanford University, where I attended writing seminars to develop my own skills.
