About Malin
I'm a current student with two years of experience tutoring elementary and middle-school aged students. I have found the experience of tutoring incredibly rewarding, and hope to help your child in whatever ways they need.
I'm a well-learned student of English. At my school, I am involved with multiple publications, where I read and edit essays. I also earned a 5 on the AP English Language & Composition exam.
Through a program with my school which matched me with an elementary student to mentor through writing skills.
I have spent the past two years tutoring elementary and middle school-aged children on the weekends on reading, writing, and grammar.
I attend an elite prep school where I am an accomplished student of English.

I will work with the student to understand what areas they need the most help with. This may involve going over past essays or classwork, and then identifying spots of trouble. Then, we will work together to set goals and create a plan as to what the student wants to focus in on throughout their tutoring sessions.
I have worked with elementary and middle school-aged students of all different reading and writing levels.

Depending on the length of the lesson and the age of the children (and therefore the intensity of the work being done), I will charge from anywhere from $20 per hour to $30 per hour.
