About Tracy

I believe all students can not only achieve but rather, exceed their goals with the proper guidance and motivation. I will ensure that we work together to accomplish this as well as hopefully, inspiring you to actually enjoy the process!

As a lifelong lover of language and Literature (catch the alliteration btw), I am blessed to do what I love. I enjoy the learning process and do my best to make it fun and keep it interesting.

I began tutoring in college, and I have been providing services for the past twenty years.

I graduated summa cum laude from university with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Culture. While at university I successfully tutored many of my peers.

About the lesson

Upon first meeting, we will discuss the student's intended goals and I will assess his or her abilities. Mutual respect is paramount, and I want my students to trust and feel comfortable with me. We are a team, and I am here to assist you in achieving your goals and hopefully will inspire you to actually enjoy the learning process.

High school and college.

Screen your tutor to ensure he or she is knowledgeable and that the two of you will be a good fit.

Joan

Tracy tutored my son in English Lit. He has never really cared for his ELA classes, especially writing analysis papers. However, after working with Tracy’s Tutoring, he has become more confident in literary analysis and his critical thinking abilities. We were extremely pleased with her services and would hire her again.

Sharon

Tracy was delightful to work with. She tutored my eighth grade daughter in ELA. Especially during this past year with remote learning, it was such a relief to know that my daughter was in capable and caring hands. Tracy not only helped my daughter get caught up with her studies and learn the material, but she also was able to get my daughter excited about Literature! I highly recommend her.
