About Sarah

I am a full-time 2nd-grade teacher, and I love everything about teaching and learning. It is a true passion of mine. I have gotten teaching and learning experience from all over the world from London to Australia. I have my bachelor's and Master's in Education from James Madison University. I have a professional teaching license certified in grades PreK through 5th grade.

I have been a 2nd Grade teacher for two years now. I have been teaching in the classroom as a volunteer or student-teacher since my senior year of high school. I am a fully certified and licenses elementary school teacher.

About the lesson

I take baseline data first and get to know the students in order to gain trust in one another to begin our learning process working together. After baseline data is collected and assessed I come up with a learning plan scaffolded on the weak points in the student's curriculum to fill in any gaps to complete full understanding of struggling content standards.

I have worked with every student there is and love them all the same. I am currently teaching in an inclusion classroom that has special education students integrated into the general education classroom.
