About Lucas
I believe teaching starts with listening. No two students learn the same so I believe in tailoring my tutoring approach to how a student learns best. I have extensive experience in social studies with BAs in Political Science and International Studies. I have worked with students ranging from teenagers to adults, especially ESL adults.
I have a passion for learning that I love to pass on to my students. Learning doesn't always have to be hard work and I genuinely believe it can be fun. Not only does that attitude help with motivation, I think helps with students learning and retaining information if it's presented in an interesting and relevant fashion.
