About Courtney
Welcome to Grammatical Grace, my name is Courtney and I have been a lifelong lover of all things literary. I acquired a BA in English from UNC-Chapel Hill in the early 2000s and have been tutoring online in my free time for over 5 years now. I currently work professionally as a counselor, which helps me to get to know you, and more importantly, understand how you learn best. I can accommodate IEP/504 plan needs as well, so don't hesitate to ask or mention any special requirements you may need or have, but don't worry, therapy isn't included :)
I specialize in providing 1:1 online tutoring services and am located in the Cape Fear/Wilmington, NC area. I am dedicated to helping students of all ages (yes, adults too!) improve their language skills and academic performance. Whether you need support with mastering conversational English (ESL), understanding complex literary texts, improving your grammar, or enhancing your reading and essay writing abilities, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
I offer a free consultation for a meet and greet: we can assess your needs, review any upcoming assignments, and talk about your goals. Parents are absolutely welcome! Lastly, I want you to know will always invite your feedback- when you feel something is working well, or when we need to make adjustments. For my younger (elementary-age) clients, I encourage parental participation and want to know what your goals are for your child.
Join me at Grammatical Grace and let’s achieve your educational goals together!
