About Dante
My name is Dante, and I am a TESOL-certified English teacher and tutor with over a decade of combined teaching experience, offering personalized tutoring in ESL, reading, writing, and Spanish. With a background in linguistics, anthropology, and bilingual education, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each learner, fostering an environment where students can thrive academically and build confidence. Whether you're looking to enhance language skills or improve literacy, I can provide expert guidance and supportive teaching to help you achieve your educational aspirations. Since 2018, I have supported students from 3 to 53 years of age in their English-learning journeys in Madrid, Spain, the city I now call home. I also have extensive experience teaching English online, having previously worked with a number of ESL companies.
Before becoming a full-time educator, I worked for five years as a corporate legal assistant at Skadden, Arps LLP (a large international law firm) and briefly as a production assistant at TransPerfect, the world's largest language services provider. My eye for detail and desire to do things "the right way" have accompanied me in every role I've filled.
