About Jessica
I have been an online tutor of English to children in China for almost a year, and even though we are on opposite sides of the world, I am able to establish a relationship with my students. I aim to bring that same personal connection to local students who will have even more access to any assistance I can give them.
I love seeing my students develop their skills. It brings me so much joy to help my student do something as small as pronouncing a difficult word correctly. Knowing that I have a direct impact on their ability to speak with a whole new group of people is truly amazing.
I was introduced to tutoring by my sister who encouraged me to try out this field. I studied and received a TEFL certification and was hired by a tutoring company in June 2019. I began tutoring students full time as a contract worker with the same company and am excited to branch off on my own to help students who are more local.
