About Stephanie
Hello there!
I am a private English language, essay writing, ESL and editing tutor for your new college, or K-12 student and I am excited to meet with you! I have a degree in Vocal Performance, and business management. While pursuing my degree, my studies focused heavily on vocal pedagogy, vocal diction, vocal anatomy and production, as well as several English and professional writing courses, grammar courses, and creative writing clases. I have also been a private ESL teacher to students in China for the past year, online. In my classes, I encourage positivity, hard work, and a friendly warm environment for enhanced learning. I would love to join you on the journey to confidence in speaking and writing and look forward to meeting you!
During my studies at BYU-Idaho, I was trained and well educated in vocal pedagogy, English and creative essay writing, and grammar. I also have been trained as a private ESL teacher for one year.

When first meeting a student, I like to get to know them. It is important to create a relationship where the student feels safe in the learning environment, and not intimidated as to stifle learning. Then we proceed by talking about goals. We discuss together what strengths they have first, and then what areas they are struggling with. That will allow us to make a game plan on how to make improvements.
I have worked with a variety of students from beginner writers, Chinese students, students with speech impediments or dyslexia, to intermediate college essay writers.
