About Mirabella
Writing is my passion, and I would love to guide your student's voice and help them stand out in either general homework help or the college process. As a rising Junior at Barnard College of Columbia University, I can safely say that I understand what kind of writing colleges expect. Currently, I work for the school as a Writing Fellow, which teaches students to write both formal essays and scientific lab reports. In the past, I have won the Scholastic Award for Art and Writing, and I have worked with high school students in a range of subjects, including math, French, history, and English.
My favorite part of this job is the moment a student realizes that anyone can write; they simply need a little push. Not only do I wish to help a student learn, but I want them to gain confidence in their writing ability and their own voice.
I currently major in Neuroscience and minor in French at Barnard College of Columbia University. I also work at my school as a Writing Fellow, which has formally taught students to edit essays. The application process for this job included writing recommendations from my professors, as well as an essay editing test.
