About Najwa
I am a secondary school teacher at a government school in Penang, specializing in Bahasa Melayu for Form 4 and Form 5 students. With years of experience in teaching upper secondary students, I have developed a strong understanding of the SPM Bahasa Melayu syllabus, examination requirements and the challenges students commonly face.
Since 2021, I have been appointed as an SPM Bahasa Melayu paper examiner, giving me valuable first-hand insight into how students’ answers are assessed and what differentiates an average answer from a high-scoring one.
I am also actively involved in various seminars, workshops and professional programs related to SPM Bahasa Melayu, continuously updating my knowledge of examination trends, answering techniques and effective teaching strategies.

My approach to private tutoring goes beyond simply teaching the syllabus. I focus on understanding each student’s strengths, weaknesses and learning style, then tailor my lessons accordingly. Students will be guided step-by-step to improve their understanding, writing skills, answer techniques and confidence in tackling SPM questions. With my experience as an SPM Bahasa Melayu examiner, students will gain valuable insight into the examination requirements and learn how to approach questions strategically and effectively.
