About Ngozi
I am a lecturer and have been giving private lessons since 1990. I have taught extensively in colleges across London and now only mostly tutor, preferring to help my students improve their learning at their own pace. From gaining entry into Grammar Schools across Kent to bettering their school grades, the students feel more confident with a can-do attitude and go on to attain great heights. Not to mention their parents who also feel and share in the student's achievements.

I approach each topic from the assumption that the student has little or no prior knowledge and so teach it from the scratch using examples and explanations the students can understand and relate to. All along asking the students questions to reinforce learning and re-explaining if needed but always giving lots of practice to embed learning. If the student has forgotten any prior knowledge or it wasn't fully understood formerly, it is soon better understood and in most instances, I teach them a simpler more straightforward method which they tend to remember.
I always give homework to enable the student continue practising between lessons and to further embed learning and move the student forward.

Details
My rates vary according to the distance I have to travel and the travel rates start from £6. I have a cancellation policy and require that I am given at least a 24-hour notice of cancellation otherwise the lessons will still require to be paid for.
