About Will
I have a lot of experience working one on one with students. I pride myself on my ability to make connections with my students and design a course that suits their needs and interests.
As a teacher I get immense joy from seeing that moment when a student finally grasps a notion. Learning a foreign language can be such a monumental and life changing thing to do, and I enjoy helping people on that road.
I began by helping out my classmates on their homework assignments.
- Bachelor's degree in French and Francophone Studies from UMass Amherst
- Taught English at a middle school in Paris for six months
- Worked as a "Lecteur d'anglais" at the université de Toulouse
- Two years teaching French 1 and 2 at UMass Amherst
-One year as a student teacher at West Springfield High School
- Obtained a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from UMass Amherst
-Certified high school French teacher in Massachusetts
-One year as an English assistant at a high school in Liévin, France
- Currently on my third year as a French teacher at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia

I must first establish the level of my student. Once I know what I am working with then I ask what their particular goals are. After getting this information I design a learning plan that is catered to their needs.
I have worked with beginners of French all the way to native French speakers.
Find someone to whom you can speak comfortably and who's accomplishments you respect.
I recently attended the Shoprite classic in New Jersey with my dad. It is an LPGA event. We had a great time.
