About Ruth
Hi! I’m Ruth Kalonji, a bilingual business student at Indiana University Southeast with a passion for helping others grow in confidence and skill. Born and raised in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, French is not just something I studied, it’s part of who I am. I offer students the chance to learn and practice authentic conversational and academic French in a supportive, real-world context.
I also bring strong experience in communication, customer service, and peer guidance from my time working at IU Southeast. With multiple digital marketing certifications and recognition on both the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists, I blend professionalism with a friendly, patient tutoring style.
Learning with me is all about building trust, clarity, and progress and maybe even enjoying a few laughs along the way. Whether you’re tackling French grammar or sharpening your business writing, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
