About Joseph
Hey students and parents! I'm excited to share a bit about my background. I've worked with tons of amazing young people, helping them succeed in school, lock down college acceptances, and fulfill their potential. As a college admissions counselor and tutor fellow, I've advised and tutored students across almost every subject - math, science, English, history, you name it! My favorite part is getting to work one-on-one and really customize my approach based on each student's needs. I like to keep sessions engaging with lots of activities and examples rather than just lecturing from a textbook. And I'll sprinkle in some fun brain breaks too! The goal is to make topics stick so you grow your skills and confidence.
I bring a strong educational background to the job as well. I graduated from Villanova University with a business and finance degree, so I can definitely help with any math, econ or accounting topics. Then I completed an MBA and Master's in International Studies at Wharton and the Lauder Institute at Penn. So rest assured I have the advanced skills to tutor any high school or college-level material. But more importantly, I care about YOU. I want to see each student thrive and unlock their potential. Together we'll set goals, work hard, and celebrate wins - that's my tutoring style. I can't wait to meet you!
