About Hannah
Spanish - I have been "studying" Spanish my whole life. My mother is a fluent Spanish speaker and I've been blessed with being able to travel to Costa Rica and Mexico when I was younger. When I went to college, I decided to really solidify what I had and I obtained a minor in it.
French - I started studying French in the fifth grade. When I was seventeen, I spent four months studying abroad in France living with host families and going to school. I also obtained a minor in French when I went to college.

When it comes to the complexities of learning a foreign language, the first step is to determine what level the student is currently at. If they've already had a few semesters of study, I'll converse with them a bit in that language to get an idea of what their strengths and weaknesses are. Once we've talked a bit and they're more comfortable, I'll ask about any current assignments they're working on or any tests they're studying for. I'll look over some past assignments with them. This helps me get a better idea of what they need to focus on and we can go through their errors together and make sure we understand what went wrong.
