About Keith
As a current professional and former Division 1 collegiate golfer, I can offer invaluable insights into the game of golf. I know what it takes to be successful if you’re just starting out, or want to play better in tournaments.
I offer personalized golf instruction that is focused on the individual needs of the student. My main goal is to get people out on the golf course to enjoy this great game!

I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

The look on someone’s face after they hit a golf ball high and straight for the first time, is what it’s all about for me. I know that from that moment forward they will be a golfer for life. I truly enjoy when a knew student tells me about their goals for golf, and then setting a plan in place to hel them to get there. I view myself as more of a coach, rather than an instructor. Having worked my way up through junior, collegiate, and now professional golf, I know what the journey is like and I love to share it with others.
I have been giving golf lessons since 2015. I got started teaching immediately after graduating from New Mexico State with my Class-A PGA Certification.
I am a graduate of the PGA PGM Golf Management Program from New Mexico State University. During my time there, I received a four-year education in golf instruction from the PGA of America. While at NMSU, I played on the Division 1 golf team and studied under the world’s leading authority in Club-Focused golf instruction. I am currently competing professionally in the U.S. and Canada.

Everyone that I work with brings a unique background, body type, experience level etc. I like to find out how much golfing experience each person has, and what their goals are for our time together. My main goal is to make each lesson valuable for the student. I want to make sure that no one leaves without their concerns having been addressed.
I have worked with everyone from complete beginners to Division 1 college golfers.
My advice to anyone looking for golf instruction is to find a teacher that you relate to and find value in, and stick with them. Far too often, I see people bounce from instructor to instructor, collecting conflicting ideas along the way. When you find success with an instructor, don’t stray away.
Recently, during a playing lesson, a student of mine told me that it was, “the most valuable lesson I have ever had”. When I hear things like that from my students, it confirms why I love to teach golf so much.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should determine how much time they are realistically going to invest into improving their golf game. This will allow the teacher to set the student’s path for success.

I highly recommend getting lessons with Keith. I really value his “club focused” approach. The proof is in the pudding! I started seeing immediate results transfer from the range to the course and then into my scorecard. Having lessons with him is like having the opportunity to get a peak inside the mind of a tour pro. He has opened my eyes to so many things from the practice tees to playing the game itself. Keep up the great work Keith and thanks for your passion for the game!
What I like about working with Keith is that he is very good at working with what I want to work on. Asks me every lesson what specifically I want to practice and constructs his drills around that specific task. He also does a very fine job relaying what he is looking for so that it is easy for anyone to understand. I wasn't specifically looking for a swing change, but more of some tweaks to fine tune my game. He is also great at teaching course management and how to handle every shot with an approach. Which has overall really influenced and changed the way I play around a course positively. He is a great instructor and really fits my own playing style into his lessons.
I started working with Keith after a few years of golf under my belt. Coming from a background in other sports I had developed some good habits but also habits that didn't carry over so well. Keith was able to take those strengths, weaknesses, and overall approach and connect them to the game of golf. This helped me reshape how I went about playing the game. His approach is to simplify things, get back to the basics and trust your abilities. After only a few lessons I saw amazing results!
He is also a student of the game, not just a coach, and he is constantly improving his own craft, which in turn has added to my game as well. Something might work well for him and his swing but he understands each individual has their own strengths and weaknesses and is able to cater to those.
Not only has my swing become more fluid and consistent but my mental approach to the game has improved too. I now don't just attack the flag, I have learned to play the course for how it is designed, I have learned to read greens properly, and I have learned to take the thinking out of the swing and to trust my game.
Keith opened my eyes to how simple my swing should be and not to overthink it.
