About Maryann
I have over 25 years teaching experience on the high school level and have likewise been an adjunct at a state college in New Jersey. In 2009 I was selected as Teacher of the Year for Essex County, New Jersey. I retired from teaching and moved to Arizona and am hoping to share my instructional strategies to improve written expression in students' essay writing as this is essential to successful performance in academics. I hold a BA, MA, and Doctorate of Letters with a concentration in writing.
