About Tom
Ive been a working musician since i was 15 years old and never stopped giging. Thats allot of live shows! Ive played bass and guitar in Rock and country bands here in central ny region and also spent 5 years playing in and around the Gulf coast in Florida. Im also a singer and song writer. I like teaching and my students have been as young as 7 years old. I can have you playing in just a couple lessons if your brand new. If you want to learn to play by ear thats ok we can also teach you how to read music and tab's. I have a studio at my home or i can travel in a reasonable distance. I look forward to hearing from you.

First things first. What level is the student at beginer or advanced? How does the student want to learn? Explain to them the diffrent ways to learn. Once we have a plan in place we start to learn. For beginers we teach how to tune your instrument and care for it first. Then we start with the basics.
