About Michael
I’ve been playing guitar for over 50 years and have taught both children and adults at all stages of learning. I especially enjoy working with beginners. I always start by talking with each student to understand what they want from the guitar—whether that’s playing casually for enjoyment or working toward playing with others and tackling more complex music. No matter the goal, learning guitar is a journey meant to be enjoyed. I’m a patient teacher who believes lessons should be fun, encouraging, and focused on visible progress. My goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy the process, and see steady improvement so they stay motivated and excited to play.
