About Markia
The harp has been my passion for over ten years. With my beginning harp lessions, I hope to impart that passion to you by teaching you the basics of how to play the harp. Each lesson will be tailored for you. I hope to meet your harp playing goals with each lesson.
As an arranger and composer of music, I will also help those who are interested in writing their own music.
I have been playing the harp for over ten years and am finally ready to begin imparting my experience to new harp enthusiasts!
I took harp lessons for about 10 years. I have had piano students in the past. I am excited to teach beginning harp lessons for the first time!

I will talk with any new students about their experience and comfort level with playing the harp. No previous musical experience is required. But to assess the student's level, I may ask him or her to play whatever is comfortable for them to play. :)
I have worked (on the piano) with students who had either no or very little previous musical knowledge.
