About Alexis
Hello! I am Alexis and I have a lot of experience working with diverse students with various learning needs from elementary school to adult students. I have worked in student services and elementary administration for the last 7 years. I have a BA in American Studies and Masters in Educational Leadership. I am finishing my licensure program for secondary education and I will be focusing on social studies. I also have experience working with students learning English, and as a writing tutor. I love working with students because I love watching them grow and accomplish things that they did not expect to do. I have a lot of experience working with students who have faced barriers to learning, whether those are emotional, or a learning exceptionality. I am always willing to adjust my methods to the needs of the student and try new things. I will do an excellent job because I believe YOUR voice is super important in the work that you do. My goal is to strengthen your knowledge and skills and coach you towards your goals!
