About Miranda
Hello!
I am currently a Japanese and Criminal Justice student at UNC Charlotte. I have taken math up to Calculus 2 and I find it to be a fun subject to learn. I have also in the past tutored at UNCC for the subjects of Japanese and Chinese.
I hope to teach people that learning languages can be fun and I hope to teach others about the languages I am currently learning. I try to teach the languages through fun and engaging ways so that it is easier to learn and remember along with hopefully making it a little less daunting.
I just enjoy helping people learn about something they're passionate in.
I started tutoring in college when my teachers said I should try teaching the material to the students who need help in the classes below me.
I am currently a Japanese major at UNC Charlotte. I graduate in May with a BA in Japanese and a translation certificate.

Working with new students, the first session I generally talk through with them on what they might be having trouble with. From there I try to build lessons to teach them and explain how to possibly deal with the problems they have.
I have primarialy only worked with College students learning elementary Japanese.
