About Misaki
Through my experience of learning a second language, I realized "using the language everyday" is the most important tip to improve faster and effectively. If you book my lesson, you will be able to learn EVERY DAY with my personal training plan!
I focus on conversational/casual Japanese rather than old-fasioned one, so my lesson would be perfect for learners who want to speak Japanese more like a native speaker.
I am not a certified instructor, but I will be the most passionate and dedicated Japanese teacher you've ever met!
I am also a language learner, so I know how hard mastering a second language is. I would like to become a students' friend, rather than their teacher, so that they can enjoy each lesson as if they are hanging out with their friends.
I have been teaching English to Japanese people and I love it! And I thought since I live in the US so why not teach Japanese here? ;) I am so happy to help people learn my country's language!
I was born and raised in Japan. I graduated from 4-year university there, and have an experience of teaching English and Japanese.

If a student messages me, I will reply him/her and answer questions as soon as possible. I might have some questions to decide a study plan and where to have a lesson, then we will decide the actual date of the first lesson.
They are either planning to live in Japan or just visiting there for fun. People in Japan are not good at speaking English, so it would be a good idea to study Japanese beforehand.
The most important thing to learn a language is to enjoy the learning process so that you can do it every day. If you feel like you are just hanging out with your friends while you are studying Japanese, that would be perfect! So find a tutor that you don't feel intimidated to be with :)
I really miss my family and my boyfriend in Japan, so everytime I visit them I get so excited. I visited Japan last December and I couldn't stop eating all the local food there!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students would want to know how they are going to be taught. Some tutor like to teach with a specific material, others like to teach in their own way. If students think their teaching style would be a good fit, then it's time to try!
