About Meg
Hello!
My work up to date has included working as a therapist for the past ten years, primarily with high-risk youth and adolescents struggling with problems running the gamut from depression and self-harm to eating disorders and trauma, to name but a few. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling with a focus in trauma and crisis. This, coupled with my experience, has helped me fine-tune my work with clients who seek to understand, accept, and grow beyond personal challenges and obstacles that prevent them from thriving. Throughout this work, I have learned much about the impact and benefit of expressive methods, and have decided to work exclusively with art and life-coaching to assist those with mental illness and emotional challenges. I love helping individuals find ways to communicate in new ways with creative approaches, and I have had a significant positive impact in the lives of those I have treated with these methods. Working with me will be a journey in which I teach clients new ways to view challenges and obstacles while also providing guidance in artistic and expressive methods to process and grow beyond their "stuck" points.
