About Jasmine
Hello lovely people!
My name is Jasmine Speights, and I have been an online Barton tutor for over seven years. I specialize in teaching children with dyslexia in the areas of reading and spelling.
Growing up in Thailand, I was homeschooled by my parents along with my four siblings. Being dyslexic myself, my mother taught me how to read and spell using the highly effective Barton method. Now, I am delighted to be able to use this same program to assist children from all backgrounds.
As a teacher, I often have students who feel insecure about their abilities to read and write. However, with time, I witness a significant boost in their confidence and self-esteem. It is truly gratifying to see them realize their intelligence and potential. This is the most rewarding aspect of my job.
