About Ashley
Hi there- I am a reading intervention teacher with a passion for early literacy. I have been teaching for 18 years. Most of those years were spent teaching Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade. I taught fifth grade for the last three years before making the leap to become a reading intervention teacher. I have been trained in Orton Gillingham as well as UFLI and Sonday. I have worked with kids of all ages and absolutely love seeing kids becoming confident and eager readers. I like to use multisensory teaching strategies combined with systematic and explicit instruction to make reading accessible to all students.
