About
I am based in the heart of Jasper, GA, and I specialize in nurturing the love for learning through personalized tutoring services. My goal for all my students is to first and foremost, feel safe, accepted, and loved in the environment I provide as I am a firm believer that children thrive in nurturing environments. I have 10 years of experience working with a variety of students in 5th-8th grade. I have taught in a self-contained classroom with students who have severe disabilities, resource (small group) classroom, and co-taught classroom settings. I work with students with varying abilities, academic and behavioral needs throughout my education career and gained a lot of experience in these challenging environments. I have also taught every subject, and have a particular strength in reading and writing, with a reading disabilities endorsement background. I am passionate about connection and helping students take small steps towards success everyday. I look forward to working with you!
