About Marissa
Hey there! My name is Ms. Marissa and I have been working with kids for nearly a decade. Currently, I am a Colorado licensed teacher, and I teach 5th grade math and science. I used to be the student who refused to do their work no matter what, now I'm the teacher who knows exactly how to motivate students like I once was. Everything that I teach is project based, and involves as much student choice as possible. I know how boring worksheets and flashcards can be, that's why I gamify any repetitive practice tasks. I can't wait to learn together!
