Typically, I like to get to know the student at first and give them a test, depending on their subject, to see where they are. From there on, I like to work with the students, one on one, and really help them understand the concept
I have worked with from 4th graders to 8th graders. It ranged from math to coding/programming
Make sure you are comfortable to talk to your tutor. They can only help you if you tell them what issue you have. Clear communication is key.
