When working with a new student, I always begin by getting to know them. It is important to get to know the student in order to adjust my teaching techniques to meet their needs. I then, assess them to determine their abilities and prior knowledge. After I have assessed them, I create a plan that is unique to their individual needs.
I have worked with students that have a wide range of abilities. I have experience teaching ESE students. I have also provided intervention strategies for both reading and math.
