About Lenetta
Hi! My name is Ms. Lee, and I’m excited to help you grow as a confident math learner. I know that math can sometimes feel confusing or frustrating, but with the right support, practice, and encouragement, every student can succeed. My goal as your tutor is to help you understand math in a way that makes sense to you and to build your confidence as you solve problems.
I am a professional educator with a strong background in elementary education. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri and also hold a master’s degree in Elementary Education. I am currently in my second year as a 2nd grade teacher, where I work with students every day to build strong math foundations. Teaching has given me a lot of experience helping students understand different strategies, think through problems, and develop confidence in their abilities.
Math is one of my biggest passions, and it has become a passion for many of my students as well. I love finding creative ways to make math meaningful and engaging so students truly understand what they are learning rather than just memorizing steps. Because of my dedication to math instruction, I have also applied and am currently going through the next steps in the process of becoming a math demonstration teacher.
As your tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping you succeed. I always come prepared and create a supportive environment where you can ask questions, try new strategies, and feel proud of the progress you make.
