About Hieu
I have two years of experience, teaching various math topics such as geometry, trigonometry, calculus and more. I'm excited to interact with more students and help them with their educational goals.
I offer full day contact availibility--meaning that any time you have a question, you can feel free to ask me. I also have sources for supplemental materials, which means in addition a typical tutor's ability to help with homework and answer questions, I can provide more effective practice problems and reinforce math skills.
Constantly throughout my education, I've had a passion to explore math and understand it on a level past what the classroom offers. I took initiative to learn and fully grasp the subject. This level of understanding in math truly elevates my ability to teach.
I'm a senior in high school and I've pushed myself to complete the Calculus series. As a student myself, I understand the needs of someone who is looking either catch up or accelerate in a subject. I have considerable patience and kindness that I will always priotitize maintaining.
I constantly prioritize the improvement of my students. There is nothing that makes me happier than when a student says "I finally got an A!" or "I finally feel like I get it." Meeting new students and helping them with a fundamental part of their education brings me a lot of joy.

Hieu is a great tutor who is both patient and kind. He is very adaptable and can read how much help the student needs. He helped me greatly in my AP Calculus AB class my junior year of high school and helped me earn a 5 on the AP test. I would definitely recommend him if you are struggling or just want to get ahead in your math class.
