About Jessica
Hello and welcome to Mathstery Tutoring! My name is Mrs. Ferguson and I am an elementary school math teacher. I have industrial background in distribution and earned an engineering degree from Texas A&M University. I made a career change for several reason, but the main reason is because I love kids and I love helping them realize their potential in math. The lightbulb moments absolutely make my day, week, and year! I had a math teacher in elementary who changed my perspective on math and is probably most responsible to the confidence that I had with math for the rest of my academic career. Having a strong foundation in math is essential for success in advanced math in secondary education. I want to be there one to help your child establish that strong foundation and have confidence in their ability to be a mathematician!
