About Romana
Hello! My name is Romana — I’m a dedicated and passionate tutor who loves continuously learning and helping others grow academically. As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming it can be to juggle multiple subjects, assignments, homework, weekly tests, constant revision, extracurricular activities, and personal responsibilities. It’s exhausting. My goal is to take some of that pressure off my students by helping them truly understand their subjects, revise consistently, and confidently approach exam papers and their corresponding mark schemes.

Hey there! My name is Romana. I’m a student and an aspiring teacher with strong expertise in IGCSE English Language and Literature. I achieved the highest grade in the Middle East for IGCSE English Language, earned straight A’s across all my IGCSE subjects, and received the Monash High Achiever Award.
I have extensive experience tutoring students at different ability levels and have helped my students gain higher grades (you can view this on my Instagram: @27dc_r).
In my English lessons, I first assess how the student learns best (visual, auditory, reading/writing, or kinesthetic) and tailor lesson structures accordingly. Lessons focus on clear understanding of exam requirements, language analysis, essay structure, and developing strong written expression. Students are guided on how to interpret questions, plan effective responses, and write confidently under exam conditions.
Each lesson ensures students understand what examiners look for, practise exam-style questions, and build the skills needed to improve both accuracy and sophistication in their writing.
