About Morgan
My purpose as a music educator is to bestow a lifelong love of music- making to students starting at the age of five through adult. I have been teaching piano for eight years. I studied Piano Pedagogy at Butler University and received a B. A. in Music at UW Oshkosh. Helping students grow along their musical journey is truly rewarding to me. I strongly believe all students can achieve musical excellence.
Overall, I strive to cultivate confident musicians through creative, fun, and effective ways. This includes exploring musical concepts through educational games and supplemental music classes.
I offer student-driven lessons that meet the individual's goals, strengths, and interests. These lessons provide a comprehensive education which include a wide variety of repertoire and genres. Students can explore popular, jazz, rock, contemporary etc. Other elements include practice skills, technique, music theory, sight playing, improvisation, movement, and composition. Students can perform in quarterly recitals and collaborate with other instrumentalists. They also can apply their skills in competitions. I believe that students who participate in joyful music-making activities develop eagerness in the learning process.
