About Mitch
Mitch is a graduate of Manhattan School Of Music with concentrations in guitar and voice. He's been teaching guitar, piano and singing to students of all ages for over 15 years in the Morris County area. Mitch's displays a passion for teaching that is evident to all his students and parents. Mitch is particuarly effective with beginner and intermediate students. His unique approach to teaching is designed to have his students playing songs in just a few lessons. Mitch encourages his students to perform regularly at his Folk Project OpenStage where they can hone thier skills playing for supportive and attentive audiences. "It's a fantastic way to motivate my students and give them the thrill of performing and provide measurable results. Students are often invited to participate in my supervised Ensemble Workshop where they learn the skills they need to form and develop successful bands including song selection, arranging, rehearsal organiziation, equipment and technology, stage presence and more."
As a father of three children, I love working with young people. I am the Music Director at A popular summer camp and teach in the public and private school environment as well.
