About Kristine
I have been an RN since 2006 when I earned my ASN from Kent State University. I began my bedside career on a Medical-Surgical unit then moved into Critical Care working in a Cardiothoracic ICU/Stepdown. During that time, I earned my BSN from the University of Phoenix in 2010. I began teaching in 2011 as a clinical instructor. I left bedside nursing in 2012 and have been teaching exclusively for the past 10 years. In 2014, I earned my CCRN (Critical Care certification). I have taught in various academic institutions, various areas of nursing programs (PN and RN; clinical, lab, and didactic); as well as professional development in an acute care facility. In 2017, I earned my Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Clinical Nursing Education from Jacksonville University. In October 2021, I earned my Certified Nurse Educator certification from the National League of Nursing (NLN).

When I initially meet with a student, we first discuss their needs and the reason they chose to reach out. Once needs are established, we will work together to develop a timeline and plan for the student. Then we will establish a schedule for further meetings.
