About Amanda
I am a portrait and wedding photographer based out of Oklahoma. I currently only second shoot weddings but have totaled over 100 weddings second shot, so far.
I started out using a manual, film camera and have been able to transfer that knowledge into acquiring proper exposure on a DSLR.
I have many hours of Photoshop and Lightroom experience.
I work with Nikon equipment but feel confident that I can teach basic DSLR lessons on any DSLR camera.
I am familiar with both PC and Mac but primarily edit with MAC.
I have a passion for styling shoots. I collect vintage clothing and enjoy using it during sessions. I love helping other photographers on their learning journey. Seeing them have that moment went everything just "clicks" brings me joy.
I have invested in workshops by Hailey Faria Photography.
I have attended WPPI where my work was recognized by Fujifilm.
I have attended multiple educational Photography Summits in Oklahoma.
I started out with film which greatly helped my understanding of using a camera in manual mode.

The last event I attended was WPPI in Vegas. It was at this event where my work was recognized by Fujifilm. I signed up for a Wedding Photographers all day class and did not know that the 100+ attendees would have their work looked over by Fujifilm. Based on their portfolio, Fujifilm chose ten photographers and gifted them with a digital medium format camera. The next day, we were taken to a photo shoot coordinated by Fujifilm in order to learn the camera. It was an experience that I hold close to my heart.
