About Alun
I was mentored in Germany in the early 1970’s by Anton Kaiser, a recognized professional nature photographer. I came back to San Francisco and attended the Academy of Art College for three years with a major in Photography before moving on to working in various studios, notably the Moulin Brothers in North Beach, mainly as an architectural photographer.
I saunter in the local hills with my dog Layla almost every day. This has brought me great joy in my passion and I am fairly aggressive in working with my art.
I am currently an artist/member of the MarinMOCA and have been chosen for a solo show in June 2019.
I will help you with learning about your particular camera, visualizing an image, the best composition and how to translate it to print.
