About Mindia
I am a photographer and multimedia artist born and raised In Tbilisi, Georgia and now based in NYC. Working in fashion, advertising and travel photography I was always interested in exploring new possibilities and characters.
What fascinates me are people you meet everyday, personalities, lifestyle- I try to shoot living and breathing creatures, searching for momentum, recreating it by catching their mood and touching a small part of their soul.
I like to travel to far away places to find inspiration.. India, Ethiopia, Thailand. Hoping to see more and bring back the diversity of characters I meet on my life journey.
Always searching for different techniques I stumbled upon sunprinting, which is based on direct sun light exposure combined with cyanotype process. I have worked on few series with this technique and still use it for some of my new images.
