About Gabrielle
I’m a graphic designer with 6 years of professional experience, and starting working as a graphic designer before I had even graduated.
I graduated from Temple University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Advertising with an art direction focus, alongside an art minor. I thrived in the art direction program: I became a lead designer recruited for my university's team participating in the annual National Student Advertising Competition; I won the Temple Advertising Department Award in Art Direction; And I created a brand identity for a start-up that became a finalist in the Fox School of Business' Be Your Own Boss Bowl Competition.
Since graduating, I have worked to polish my skills within the world of graphic design. Though Adobe Creative Suite is my bread and butter, my creative skillset doesn't stop there. In the past, I have worked with textiles, wood, oil paints, acrylic paints, illustration, embroidery, sculpture, photography and more. I have always been an artist interested in many mediums, and have dedicated my life to learning and practicing arts of all types.
I have worked for various start-ups, small design agencies, and served as a graphic designer for A.C. Moore for three years before the company was sold.
I enjoy design because it's rewarding to be able to take somebody's idea and make it a reality.

As a new student, we will work together to figure out what your design goals are so that I can tailor lessons to fit your individual needs. After an onboarding session to gather information, I will put together a lesson plan for you. Lesson plans will include projects to build skills, and I will share project files with you.
Lessons will be conducted via a video app with screensharing capabilities.
All students must have access to Photoshop (Or Adobe Creative Cloud if wanting to learn InDesign/Illustrator).
