I am a student at the University of Houston-Downtown majoring in Political Science and I work with the Suppliment Instruction Program that helps college students be academic successful in American and Texas Government

When working with a new students, I generally like to break the ice by introduction myself and ask the students what course they are taking. After that I like to determine the type of learning style the student uses in order to best accommodate them. Lastly I like to see what topics of the material the student might be struggling in.
