About Bob
I make learning about American government and the Constitution fun and interesting! No dull, boring lectures; I intersperse the basics with fun historical facts and trivia. I am a former TV game show champion and trivia contest producer. My approach is fast-paced, personal and fun.
I have a Masters Degree in Latin American Studies and bring a diverse professional background to my tutoring. I have over 20 years experience as a government relations executive for a major Fortune 500 corporation, and another 15 years as a Chamber of Commerce executive.
I have worked as a civics tutor at the middle school level in one Tallahassee's first charter schools, and I have achieved my certification as a substitute in the Leon County School District.

First of course is to take the time to introduce myself and get to know the student. Ask questions NOT related to Civics: His/her age, brothers, sisters, etc., hobbies, what they like to do, stuff like that, and then share something about myself.
I then to try to find out how much he/she already knows about the topic.
