About Michael
I've been involved with training divers in the Los Angeles/Orange County area for 9 years and have been an active diver for 35 years. I train divers from entry-level up to professional divemasters, as well as, prepare divers to enter technical diving training.
As a cave and technical diver, I work hard to impart advanced skills to beginning divers. I believe in taking as much time as necessary to ensure you are a safe, competent, and confident diver.
I teach NAUI and PADI recreational courses including a wide range of specialties. As a Handicapped Scuba Association instructor, and PADI Adaptive Diver Instructor, I work with adaptive divers so they too may experience our incredible underwater world.
When not training, I enjoy underwater photography/videography and lead international dive trips. I dive almost every week and welcome all to join me.
As a I am a firm believer that a good diver is always learning, I take several diver and professional development courses a year.
I would love the opportunity to earn your trust as your dive instructor.
I began my professional development by completing a rescue diver certifiction and entering divemaster training.

About the lesson

Call or text me to walk you through the complete process. I'll have you enroll through our local dive shop. From there you'll get an eLearning code or books to begin your knowledge development. We'll then hold classroom sessions, pool sessions, and ocean dives as appropriate to the course you are taking. I am available throughout your training to answer any questions that come up. Upon completion of all requirements, I issue a certification card.
I've trained divers from 10 years old to 72. Some of my divers have become instructors themselves. As a Navy Veteran I take pride in working with disabled veterans and other adaptive divers.
