About Katie
Hi, I’m Katie. I'm a government researcher and senior statistician based in Glasgow. I work in public policy with a focus on quantitative analysis, and I use both SPSS and R in my day‑to‑day role. I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Research Methods in Psychological Science.
I tutor students from university level through to doctorate, with particular experience in research methods, statistics, data analysis, and assignment support. I’ve supported students through coursework, exams, and dissertations, and my aim is to make the more technical parts of psychology feel clear and manageable. My background in applied research means I can explain concepts in a practical, grounded way, and help you understand not just what to do, but why it works.
