About Cinda
I've been a sewing for 30+years and have sewn clothing, costumes, crafts and am now attempting quilts. I love the craft, it's versatility and it's continual ability to adapt to the changing trends. One of the most exciting aspects for me is to see another person learn and grow in the craft. I've thought women, men and children sew and every time it's a thrill to see them catch the sewing bug.
One of the most significant aspects of sewing is the ability to bring out creativity in people. I find myself my most creative when I sew. Bringing solutions to costume ideas. Fleshing out crafts with little to no real guidelines. Turning a piece of fabric into a garment. I absolutely love this ability that sewing brings to the lives of people. It is a skill for all people! Anyone can learn to sew.
30+ years of experience! And a lot of variety in the sewing world

I like to have the student begin by becoming familiar with the sewing machine and what it does. Usually I have them bring a small project to work on and we do it together. If they haven't got a project I can always supply one.
