About Kristin
I've been sewing for 20 years, and I have a BFA in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of California, Hollywood. I worked in the apparel industry for 8 years, having extensive knowledge of apperal manufacturing and garment construction. I have 5 years experience in the TV/Film industry as a stitcher. My lessons are completely hands on and I can help you with any sewing project you have.
I have a machine for you to use during your lessons, or you can bring your own. My studio is equipped with many tools of the trade and are available for use during your lesson. But as lessons progress and if you want to continue with more lessons, I will suggest to purchase your own tools to bring with you.
I love putting things together and making things. I thrive in a creative atmosphere and I enjoy sharing my passion with others whom are egar to learn. I love helping bring my customers creations to life. Seeing the satisfaction of the end result, is why I teach. Sewing is my passion and I want to share it with everyone who wants to learn, from sewing on a button, to fixing ripped stitches, or build a garment from scratch.
