About Didda
Living on a small island when I grew up, I found it hard finding clothes that matched the image I envisioned for myself. At age 14 I borrowed my grandma's sewing machine and starting making my own clothes. I have since studied tailoring, fashion-, textile and film and TV costume design. I feel like I will meet anyone at their level and help them get to where they envision themself. No doubt I will be your best cheerleader
There are so many elemets of my job that I love. I love researching, gathering ideas, looking at fabrics, hunting for clothes to alter or repurpose. I especially love when a student has a lightbulb moment after we have thrown a few ideas around. I'm a sponge when it comes to studying anything that includes sewing or design.
